Charles H. Adams (“Charlie”) combines Big‑Four discipline with hands‑on operational know‑how to steer companies through their most critical inflection points. After almost two decades at PwC—culminating in partnership within the Private Company Services group—Charlie founded Soñar Capital Partners and later founded Sentry Strategy to lead its restructuring and fiduciary practice.
A former Partner in PwC’s Private Company Services practice, Charlie led multi‑disciplinary teams that served closely held and family‑owned enterprises across energy, construction, retail, and professional sports. Known for translating technical accounting into clear, actionable strategy, he became the firm’s youngest PCS partner in the Southwest region.
He is frequently selected by Texas state courts to serve as Receiver for fraud, Ponzi‑scheme, and shareholder‑dispute matters, and is equally comfortable stepping in as Chief Restructuring Officer, interim CFO, or independent board member when stakeholders need immediate control, credible data, and an executable plan.

As co-founder of Sentry Strategy, he has shaped the firm’s practice—spanning accounting, finance, technology, and strategic advisory—to deliver high-impact solutions tailored to each client’s unique challenges .
Before launching Sentry Strategy, Nick honed his operational and product leadership in the RegTech space, overseeing end-to-end product management and go-to-market execution for innovative SaaS offerings. His track record of scaling businesses across multiple industries speaks to a talent for translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable roadmaps.
For the past decade, Nick has partnered with founders, executive teams, and boards to stabilize cash-strained operations, optimize financial processes, and unlock new revenue streams—often stepping in as interim COO or fractional product strategist when rapid course-correction is required.
