Charlie combines Big Four discipline with hands-on operational know-how to steer companies through their most critical inflection points. After almost two decades at PwC — culminating in partnership within the Private Company Services group — he founded Soñar Capital Partners and later founded Sentry Strategy to lead its restructuring and fiduciary practice.
As a Partner in PwC's Private Company Services practice, Charlie led multi-disciplinary teams serving closely held and family-owned enterprises across energy, construction, retail and professional sports. Known for translating technical accounting into clear, actionable strategy, he became the firm's youngest PCS partner in the Southwest region.
He is frequently selected by Texas state courts to serve as Receiver for fraud, Ponzi-scheme and shareholder-dispute matters, and is equally comfortable stepping in as Chief Restructuring Officer, interim CFO or independent board member when stakeholders need immediate control, credible data and an executable plan.
His hallmark is rapid situational triage — assembling reliable data, modelling strategic alternatives, and aligning lenders, equity and regulators around the path that returns the most value with the least litigation for all parties.
